Our Family

Sorry for the late update, but Peter has arrived. He was born on March 22, 2009 at 2:54am. He weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces and 19 inches long. We've been home for a little over a week now. Elizabeth is doing as best as we could hope for fora 16 month old. Initially, she didn't like it. She came to visit us at the hospital and was not happy. A couple days later, she knows who Peter is and tries to help us burp him. She is concerned when he cries. And she even shares some of her toys and books with him. She does get jealous once in a while... usually when Dan is holding him. We're trying to be good about giving them both the same amount of attention. But so far so good. Peter feeds well and sleeps well. We're even able to take afternoon naps about the same time. I'm hopeful that I won't lose my mind, but we'll see next week when Dan goes back to work and I do this solo.
