W

It started with the letter C. Auntie Joy and Uncle Mike gave Elizabeth a Cal book. There is a picture of the Big C in it. I would ask Elizabeth to point to the letter C. Then we started watching SuperWhy. Soon after she started picking up her letters. About 2 months ago she started verbalizing her letters pointing them out whenever she saw something she knew. A few weeks ago she knew most of them except the hard ones like Z, X, Q, V, and W. Slowly, one by one, she was able to say and read all of the letters except W. One side of her bathtub says "newborn" and the other side says "older infants". Today she was reading, "o, r, e, n, w." I got to excited. Today, she finally knows all of her letters. Yay! Now, we need to teach her to read from left to right in order.
